Dr. Yury A. Melnik

Dr. Melnik Yury studied physics at the National Research Nuclear University of Moscow (MEPhI). He received a PhD degree in physics and mathematics in the year 2006 at the National Research Nuclear University of Moscow. He is currently a leading researcher of high-performance processing technology Department, Moscow State University of Technology “STANKIN” (www.stankin.ru). He currently teaches courses of "Technology of ion-plasma strengthening of tools and machine parts”, “Electrophysical and electrochemical processing methods”. He carries out research activities in the fields of strengthening of machine parts and tools using the gas-discharge plasma, additive manufacturing. He is co-author of more than 100 articles presented in national and international journals and/or conferences and of 14 patents of the Russian Federation.
