Prof. Simona Normando received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1993 and a PhD in Ethology in 2004 from the University of Padua. She attended several postgraduate programs at the University of Parma, the University of Milan, and the University of Southampton. Since 2010, she has been head of the veterinary behavioural medicine unit at the didactic veterinary hospital (University of Padua), and since 2007, she has been an EVBS European Specialist® in Behavioural Medicine. From 2002 to the present, she has been working at the University of Padua, first as Assistant Research Professor and more recently as Associate Professor.
