Dr. Yan Zhou is an associate professor at the School of Resources and Environment, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. She completed her PhD in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at Wuhan University. She recently led projects for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Open Fund of Key Laboratory of Urban Land Resources Monitoring and Simulation, Ministry of Natural Resources. She serves as a member of the Chinese Society for Geodesy, Photogrammetry, and Cartography, as well as the Sichuan Society of Surveying and Mapping Geoinformation. Her teaching disciplines include GIS and big data mining, with interests in big data analytics of geographic information and 3DGIS.
