Dr. Jiuxin Guo holds a bachelor’s degree in agronomy education from the College of Plant Sciences, Anhui University of Science and Technology, a doctorate in plant nutrition, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in ecology at the College of Resources and Environmental Sciences, Nanjing Agricultural University. He has a position as an associate professor and is currently working at the College of Resources and Environment, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Fuzhou, China. His research interests include plant nutritional physiology and ecology and nutrient management, efficient nutrient utilization and stress regulation of crops, integrated management of nutrient resources, and soil health. The undergraduate courses he teaches include Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, and Plant Nutrition Research Methods; the graduate courses he teaches include Plant Nutrition and Fertilization, Fertilizer Resources and Nutrient Resource Management, and Special Topics on Agricultural Resources and Environment. He has presided over many national and provincial scientific research projects. He is a review editor for Food Chemistry and Frontiers in Nutrition. He is a reviewer for Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, Plant Science, Scientia Horticulturae, Land Degradation & Development, Frontiers in Plant Science, Frontiers in Nutrition, Weed Science, Scientific Reports, Acta Physiologiae Plantarum, and Soil Bulletin.
