Alin Laurentiu Tatu is a chartered dermatologist and has a doctorate from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest. He has over twenty years of experience in dermatology, dermatology research, and teaching. This includes the experience of dermoscopy, nevi, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, skin microbiome, rosacea, topical steroid facial dermatitis, and cutaneous fungal diseases (RCM and OCT). He is a tutor with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, University of Galati (Dunarea de Jos University), Romania for the university’s pharmaceutical cosmetology and dermatology course for medical students. He is a laser safety officer, a malpraxis prevention expert in medicine, and a national expert in Dermatology. In addition, he serves on several national and international committees relating to dermatology. He is a board director of the International Society of Dermatology and is a member of several editorial boards for scientific journals. He is a member of the Profesional and Scientific Committee of the Romanian College of Physicians Galati County.
