Prof. Li Ping Qian is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University of Technology. She is also the Head of the Information and Communication Engineering Discipline. She obtained a doctoral degree in Information Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2010. After that, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Information Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2010 to 2011. She went to the University of Waterloo as a visiting scholar from 2016 to 2017. She won the second prize of the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Zhejiang Communication Society Science and Technology Award, the nomination award for the Hong Kong Youth Science Award, and so on. In addition, she also serves as an editorial board member for international journals such as IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, Chair of the Technical Program Committee for EAI MLICOM2018 International Conference, Chair of the IC 2023 Workshop, and Co-Chair of multiple specialized seminars. Her main research areas include the fundamental theory and key technologies of resource management and optimization in wireless communication and networks, the integration theory of intelligent network communication and computing, distributed machine learning for intelligent networks, and group intelligence in the Internet of Things.
