Zhang Xuhui (member of IEEE) received his bachelor's degree from the Xi'an Institute of Mining in 1996. In 2002, he obtained a master's degree from the Xi'an University of Science and Technology. In 2009, he received a doctor's degree in instrument science and technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor at the Xi'an University of Science and Technology. His research interests include vision measurement, accurate positioning of mobile devices, intelligent detection, and control in coal mines. His main contributions are conceptualization and methodology, including the design of the laser beam image segmentation network model RCEAU and the proposal of feature segmentation and extraction methodology.
