Information

ER stress, cancer, autophagy and nanoparticles. The core objective of my research is to uderstand how cell stress responses (autophagy & UPR) contribute to different cell fate decisions (differentiation, proliferation or cell death). Using molecular and system biology approaches, we are trying to gain depth insights on the differential role of Autohagy, UPR and Regulated Cell Death between physiological and pathological conditions. Our ultimate goal is to develop innovative therapeutic routes for controlling cancer and senescence.
