Biography

Arshad Husain Rahmani works as an Associate Professor at the Department of Medical Laboratories, College of Applied Medical Sciences, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia. The primary research focus revolves around the discovery of novel pharmaceutical agents for disease management. Additionally, it aims to elucidate the regulatory roles of natural compounds and microRNAs in modulating inflammation, oxidative stress, and cellular signaling pathways to prevent various pathogenesis. Our ongoing investigations center on the involvement of the bioactive constituents of medicinal plants in the prevention and treatment of different pathogenesis. These studies encompass in vivo, in vitro, and in silico approaches. Our key research interests encompass (i) The development of animal models for lung, liver, colon injuries, and diabetes mellitus. (ii) Exploring the relationship between natural compounds, microRNAs, and various pathogenesis. (iii) Unravelling the molecular mechanisms underpinning the pathogenesis of lung, liver, colon injuries, and diabetes mellitus. By delving into these areas, our research seeks to advance the understanding of disease processes and identify potential therapeutic interventions.
