Prof. Jhuma Sadhukhan

Prof. Dr. Jhuma Sadhukhan is a professor of Environmental, Energy, and Chemical Engineering at the University of Surrey, UK. She is in the world's top 1% of scientists (according to the yearly average study by Stanford University). She leads the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary biorefinery and bioeconomy research and education. She creates life cycle assessments (LCA) (ISO14040-44) and bioeconomy professionals to solve modern complex global problems, net-zero, and circular economies. She is a full member of the EPSRC peer-review college. She serves on the IChemE Publications Medals Board. Before joining the board, she received the IChemE Moulton (2011) and Hanson (2006) Medals.
