Dr. Pradeesh Sivapalan is a Respiratory Physician and Associate Professor at Copenhagen Respiratory Research, Herlev and Gentofte Hospital, and the University of Copenhagen. His research bridges clinical medicine and translational science, focusing on acute exacerbations of COPD, lung infections, bronchiectasis, and the reduction of medication-related adverse effects. He combines biomarker discovery, point-of-care diagnostics, and personalized treatment strategies to improve survival and quality of life in respiratory medicine. With 147 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals, he has established a strong international profile. As Associate Editor for several journals and an active member of global research networks, he fosters collaborations that accelerate innovation.
