Dr. Wenxuan Guo is an Associate Professor of Crop Ecophysiology and Precision Agriculture with a joint appointment at Texas A&M AgriLife Research. He completed his master’s studies in Plant, Soil, and Environmental Science at West Texas A&M University and his PhD in Agronomy at Texas Tech University. His research mainly focuses on precision agriculture, environmental sciences, and remote sensing in agriculture, especially the application of UAVs in precision plant phenotyping, and his primary goal is to establish interdisciplinary research and teaching programs that leverage state-of-the-art technologies to improve agricultural production with limited resources, especially water.
