This paper studies the relationship between Lean paradigms and the Physical Internet (PI). Lean thinking is a philosophy that allows one to obtain the right amount of the right items in the right place at the right time; it seeks to minimize waste and is flexible to change. In fact, applying Lean not only helps to reduce costs, but it also adds value and improves results across the supply chain. By using a value stream map, we can map the process from the supply chain to the customer, while trying not to add value activities. Such activities include excessive production, overstorage, waiting times poorly adjusted to needs, defects and rejects that require reprocessing, and, finally, unnecessary transport and movements. Storage, waiting times, and unnecessary transport and movements are at the core of the PI. A value stream map can also help to identify empty transport and unnecessary CO2 emissions. This study analyzes value stream mapping as a tool that can enable the objectives of the different Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration (ALICE) roadmaps for logistics innovation to be achieved, and can also allow PI principles to be reached on the established dates.

The objective of this work is to identify and visualize the intellectual structure of the Lean Manufacturing research field. To achieve this, a bibliometric analysis will be carried out that combines a performance and co-occurrence analysis, to identify and analyze the relationships between the topics that have had the greatest impact on the construction of the knowledge base of this discipline. To achieve this objective, a bibliometric analysis was carried out that began with a search on the Web of Science (WOS) platform with the Lean Manufacturing theme. From this database, the references were exported and subsequently processed using the Bibliometrix software, which allows for both an analysis of indexes and the number of articles, which showed us that it was not until 2012 that a progressive publication of works on the subject begins, of productivity by country, with the USA appearing as the country with the greatest number of publications and the greatest number of citations on the topic analyzed, and of authors and journals with the greatest publications, as well as a co-occurrence analysis, which shows us the keywords most used by the authors and the thematic areas where they are most published, the results of which yielded five clusters or groups of keywords led by the terms Lean Management, Lean, Industry 4.0, Value Stream Map and Six Sigma.

Palabras clave: Bibliometria, Dyna, ingeniería, Web of Science, Análisis de revistas. Dyna is a journal is a leading engineering research journal founded in 1926 and celebrating its 15th anniversary on the Web of Science. The objective of this work is to analyze the publications of the journal since it entered the Web of Science, using a bibliometric approach, in order to offer a complete view of the main topics that are published in the journal. This analysis includes clear parameters such as the most cited articles, the main authors, institutions and countries that have participated in its publication. After the analysis, it can be concluded that among the main topics of the magazine are those related to the automotive sector and the mechanical properties of materials, although there is another series of general topics related to electrical energy, electric vehicles and the environmental sustainability collected in the magazine. Keywords: Bibliometric, Dyna, engineering, Web of Science, Journal analysis.

Lean Management is a system comprising specific practices and techniques aimed at reducing both internal and external process variability. It encompasses a set of principles, methods, and procedures for business organisation and management. Implementing Lean Management necessitates changes in organisational culture and workforce dynamics, wherein all employees, from operator level to senior management, assume responsibilities and are empowered to make rapid decisions at all levels. This study aims to elucidate the intellectual structure of the Lean Manufacturing research field through a bibliometric analysis combining productivity and co-word analyses. This approach facilitates the identification and analysis of relationships between key topics that have significantly influenced the discipline's knowledge base. Furthermore, the evolution of keywords over time is examined, and potential future trends are identified. A search for "Lean Management" was conducted in the Web of Science (WoS), and the resulting data were processed using Bibliometrix, enabling the analysis of indices, article volume, and productivity by country, authors, and journals. Additionally, the nodes (themes) and clusters (trends) within the field of study were identified, highlighting the principal research areas.
