Dr. Akif Kaynak received his BSc degree from the University of Manchester in UK, MSc degree from Rutgers State University of New Jersey, USA and PhD degree from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in Australia. Dr Kaynak has 30 years of international teaching experience in Australia, Turkey and USA in mechanics and materials engineering. His research interests are conducting polymers, functional textiles, polymeric sensors and actuators and 3D printed soft robots. He is a regular reviewer for various international journals and part of the advisory board of Sensors journal.
