Dr Kaynak has 30 years of international teaching experience in Australia, Turkey and USA in mechanics and materials engineering. His research interests are conducting polymers, functional textiles, polymeric sensors and actuators and 3D printed soft robots. He is a regular reviewer for various international journals and part of the advisory board of Sensors journal.
