High T c superconducting (HTS) DC cable is a promising solution for large-scale power transmission over long distance. However, the refrigeration system for HTS cable is indispensable but undesirable. Considering that LNG (liquid natural gas) is now one kind of clean energy that is used more and more widely, it is possible to integrate HTS cable and LNG transportation into a single pipeline, resulting in a new energy transportation system- a HTS energy pipeline. In this paper, the principle and structure of the energy pipeline are first discussed and then the basic physical properties of the HTS tapes and liquid insulation medium in the LNG temperature range are analyzed. On this basis, a 10 kV/1 kA energy pipeline is designed, fabricated and tested.

In the reconstruction of sparse signals in compressed sensing, the reconstruction algorithm is required to reconstruct the sparsest form of signal. In order to minimize the objective function, minimal norm algorithm and greedy pursuit algorithm are most commonly used. The minimum L1 norm algorithm has very high reconstruction accuracy, but this convex optimization algorithm cannot get the sparsest signal like the minimum L0 norm algorithm. However, because the L0 norm method is a non-convex problem, it is difficult to get the global optimal solution and the amount of calculation required is huge. In this paper, a new algorithm is proposed to approximate the smooth L0 norm from the approximate L2 norm. First we set up an approximation function model of the sparse term, then the minimum value of the objective function is solved by the gradient projection, and the weight of the function model of the sparse term in the objective function is adjusted adaptively by the reconstruction error value to reconstruct the sparse signal more accurately. Compared with the pseudo inverse of L2 norm and the L1 norm algorithm, this new algorithm has a lower reconstruction error in one-dimensional sparse signal reconstruction. In simulation experiments of two-dimensional image signal reconstruction, the new algorithm has shorter image reconstruction time and higher image reconstruction accuracy compared with the usually used greedy algorithm and the minimum norm algorithm.

Graph convolutional networks (GCNs) have brought considerable improvement to the skeleton-based action recognition task. Existing GCN-based methods usually use the fixed spatial graph size among all the layers. It severely affects the model’s abilities to exploit the global and semantic discriminative information due to the limits of receptive fields. Furthermore, the fixed graph size would cause many redundancies in the representation of actions, which is inefficient for the model. The redundancies could also hinder the model from focusing on beneficial features. To address those issues, we proposed a plug-and-play channel adaptive merging module (CAMM) specific for the human skeleton graph, which can merge the vertices from the same part of the skeleton graph adaptively and efficiently. The merge weights are different across the channels, so every channel has its flexibility to integrate the joints. Then, we build a novel shallow graph convolutional network (SGCN) based on the module, which achieves state-of-the-art performance with less computational cost. Experimental results on NTU-RGB+D and Kinetics-Skeleton illustrates the superiority of our methods.

Real-time object detection is critical for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) performing various tasks. However, efficiently deploying detection models on UAV platforms with limited storage and computational resources remains a significant challenge. To address this issue, we propose ELNet, an efficient and lightweight object detection model based on YOLOv12n. First, based on an analysis of UAV image characteristics, we strategically remove two A2C2f modules from YOLOv12n and adjust the size and number of detection heads. Second, we propose a novel lightweight detection head, EPGHead, to alleviate the computational burden introduced by adding the large-scale detection head. In addition, since YOLOv12n employs standard convolution for downsampling, which is inefficient for extracting UAV image features, we design a novel downsampling module, EDown, to further reduce model size and enable more efficient feature extraction. Finally, to improve detection in UAV imagery with dense, small, and scale-varying objects, we propose DIMB-C3k2, an enhanced module built upon C3k2, which boosts feature extraction under complex conditions. Compared with YOLOv12n, ELNet achieves an 88.5% reduction in parameter count and a 52.3% decrease in FLOPs, while increasing mAP50 by 1.2% on the VisDrone dataset and 0.8% on the HIT-UAV dataset, reaching 94.7% mAP50 on HIT-UAV. Furthermore, the model achieves a frame rate of 682 FPS, highlighting its superior computational efficiency without sacrificing detection accuracy.
