Prof. Dariusz Rozumek, Department of Mechanics and Machine Design at the Opole University of Technology, Poland. He has been teaching Drawing, Engineering Graphics, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, Selected Measuring Techniques, Mechanics, Theory of Mechanisms and Machines, Simulation in the Dynamics of Machines and Vehicles in Opole University of Technology. Promoteur of a PhD, graduate and post-graduate diploma theses. His research interests lie in the area of multiaxial fatigue and fracture including stress and energy approach, welding and many other topics related to the field of materials science. He has published more than 257 scientific publications, eleven patents, two book chapters and seven book editions. He participated in more than 10 European and National Projects. He is also a Guest Editor of several issues in various Journals and Reviewer of articles in 25 Journals. He was a co-organizer of several International Conferences of Fracture Mechanics and Material Fatigue as well as Sessions and Minisymposia. He was and is a Member of Many Program and Scientific Committees in International Conferences. He cooperates with the industry in the field of fatigue damage causes and crack growth.
