Dr. Laura Ricciotti is a Research Associate in Materials Science and Technology at the Department of Architecture and Industrial Design, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. She has a deep knowledge of laboratory techniques in the field of organic synthesis and materials chemistry. The acquired competencies span from the knowledge of typical techniques for the chemical–physical characterisation of materials (spectroscopic, thermal, structural, and morphological) to more application-oriented analyses (electrical and mechanical). Today, she combines a dynamic and creative personality with a marked curiosity towards plenty of cultural ambits. Furthermore, she has significant management ability and is particularly suitable for teamwork and leadership. She has a Ph.D. degree in chemical science. She has numerous scientific articles published in international journals and national patents. She is currently a Guest Editor for two Special Issues of the Polymers and Materials journals. She has participated in numerous research projects of national and international significance. She is currently the scientific leader (Principal Investigator) of the project “Geopolymers for Eco-Architecture: A Chemo-rheology and Thermo-kinetic Investigation for the Development of 3D Printable Formulations–GEA” for Fundamental and Applied Research Projects Dedicated to Young Researchers at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.
