Prof. Dr. Christina Tsigalou

Prof. Dr. Christina Tsigalou has been a Medical Microbiologist–Biopathologist and Assistant Professor in Medical–Molecular Microbiology at the Laboratory of Hygiene and Environmental Protection of Democritus University of Thrace, Alexandroupolis.She received her MD and Ph.D. from the same University. Her special interest is in autoimmunity, diagnostic immunology and clinical chemistry. She is also a professor in the Nursing Department at the High Technical Education Institute of East Macedonia and Thrace, and she teaches in post-graduate courses as well. She performs reviews for national and international scientific journals, publishes articles in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of Greek and international scientific societies.
