Underpinned by Script Theory and the S-O-R model, this research enhances the green tourism consumption literature to identify how destination service quality contributes to visitors’ memorable experiences and loyalty towards a place-based food tourism attraction. A total of 202 tourists who visited the Best of Highlands tea plantation in Malaysia were surveyed using an online questionnaire. Using PLS-SEM, this study has several notable findings: (i) destination service quality factors: activities, cleanliness, language, and security emerged as predictors of memorable tourism experiences; (ii) memorable tourism experiences strongly predicted destination loyalty; and (iii) memorable tourism experiences mediate the path between destination service quality and destination loyalty. This study therefore provides new insights into both sustainable tea tourism and script theory with respect to how memories guide future decision making. These results also provide insights for tea tourism providers in designing an unforgettable destination that stimulates the tourist’s intention to revisit the destination and to communicate it to others.

Purpose: The well-being of the elderly is a growing issue of concern for countries around the world. One way to enhance the elderly well-being is to provide housing options suitable to their needs and lifestyle. Retirement village is an accommodation concept foreign to the Malaysian population. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to bridge this literature gap by analyzing factors that may inhibit or motivate the buying intention of a retirement village unit among the elderly in Malaysia.Design/methodology/approach: Data were collected from 261 Malaysian elderly and analyzed using structural equation modeling PLS.Findings: The results indicated that attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control and social sustainability were significant predictors that explained elderly buying intention of retirement village.Originality/value: The study also found a significant moderating role of religion in attitude–intention relationship. The paper concludes with the study’s implications, limitations and recommendations for future research.

Purpose: Cultivating loyal customers is a pressing concern for streamers. The present study investigates how to build interpersonal relationships with streamers and whether different interpersonal relationship factors lead to repurchase intention and WOM intention in live streaming commerce. The moderating effect of gender is also examined.Design/methodology/approach: A self-administered questionnaire was completed by 429 live streaming commerce users in mainland China. Partial least squares structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses.Findings: The results indicate that all four streamer attributes (expertise, authenticity, attractiveness, and homophily) have a positive influence on swift guanxi, and swift guanxi is effective in predicting both calculative commitment and affective commitment. In addition, all interpersonal relationship factors (swift guanxi, calculative commitment, and affective commitment) significantly affect repurchase intentions, with only affective commitment being linked to WOM intention. Also, the moderating role of gender was confirmed in expertise – swift guanxi, attractiveness – swift guanxi, cognitive commitment – repurchase intention and affective commitment – repurchase intention linkages.Originality/value: This paper contributes to the live streaming commerce literature by integrating swift guanxi, calculative commitment, and affective commitment to understand the repurchase intention and WOM intention from the relationship-building process perspective. In addition, this paper enriches the source credibility and source attractiveness models by identifying gender boundaries on the effectiveness of these models in predicting swift guanxi.

The rapid rise of chat generative pre-trained transformer (Chat GPT) has brought huge opportunities for e-commerce platforms to use it for consumer communication and service. This paper proposes a research framework to expand the value-attitude-behavior model by integrating the theory of consumption values. The purpose is to explore key consumption values that affect consumers' attitudes and their continuance intention to adopt ChatGPTdriven chatbots (i.e., LazzieChat) in the e-commerce services context while examining the moderating effect of online shopping self-efficacy in this process. A questionnaire survey was conducted in Singapore, involving 305 participants who had experienced LazzieChat in Lazada. Use the structural equation modelling of Smarts 4 to analyze the data. The results show that consumer 'attitudes towards LazzieChat have significantly affected their continuance intention to adopt LazzieChat, and online shopping self-efficacy has moderated this relationship. In addition, the research confirms that emotional value and epistemic value are the main driving factors of consumer 'attitudes, followed by functional value, social value and epistemic value. Consumers' attitudes towards LazzieChat mediate the relationship between functional value, social value, epistemic value, and continuance intention to adopt LazzieChat. By developing a research framework that follows the logic of value-attitude-behavior model, this study provides theoretical and practical insights based on the theory of consumer values, which could guide e-commerce platforms to more effectively cater to their consumers' continuance intention of adopting ChatGPT-driven ecommerce AI chatbot service.

There is a dearth of empirical and theoretical investigation in the field of supply chain risk management. Even though SCRM is an important component in supply chain management research, there is still a lack of understanding regarding the term and the concept to develop advantageous SCRM. In the literature of SCRM, different aspects have been discussed, for instance, risk identification, risk assessment, risk management strategies, risk monitoring, and contingency plans. Supply chain risks are increasing because of multiple outsourced partners linked with each other making it more complex, along with this, business is also uncertain, so these scenarios increase supply chain risks. Knowledge management has been used to know about the market scenarios and the information of trading partners and supply chain managers from different firms to know about the uncertainty or risks. However, the discussion shows that the efficient implication of KM capabilities on the SCRs and SCRM is still lacking. This paper provides a comprehensive conceptual framework on the effect of knowledge management within supply chain risk and supply chain risk management.
