While moving towards sustainable performance, organizations try to create a win-win situation not only for the organization itself but for the planet and society as well. The main aim of this study is to examine the linkage between environmental corporate social responsibility (ECSR), green talent management (GTM), and organization’s sustainable performance. The study also investigates the impact of ECSR and GTM towards sustainable performance through transformational leadership, employees’ innovative work behavior (IWB), and green performance (GP). The results of the present study show that ECSR directly influences the sustainable performance and GTM of an organization. Similarly, green hard and soft talent management (TM) both have direct and positive links with employees’ IWB and GP. Another important finding is the significant and direct relationship of both IWB and GP of employees towards the sustainable performance of an organization. The moderating role of transformational leadership exerts a significant moderating influence between green hard TM and IWB. However, the moderating role of transformational leadership between green soft TM and IWB and the moderating role of transformational leadership between GTM and employee’s GP proves insignificant. The findings of this study can help the organizations to understand the importance of engaging in environmentally sustainable activities and to support and recognize the significance of green values and competencies within their employees.

There is a dearth of empirical and theoretical investigation in the field of supply chain risk management. Even though SCRM is an important component in supply chain management research, there is still a lack of understanding regarding the term and the concept to develop advantageous SCRM. In the literature of SCRM, different aspects have been discussed, for instance, risk identification, risk assessment, risk management strategies, risk monitoring, and contingency plans. Supply chain risks are increasing because of multiple outsourced partners linked with each other making it more complex, along with this, business is also uncertain, so these scenarios increase supply chain risks. Knowledge management has been used to know about the market scenarios and the information of trading partners and supply chain managers from different firms to know about the uncertainty or risks. However, the discussion shows that the efficient implication of KM capabilities on the SCRs and SCRM is still lacking. This paper provides a comprehensive conceptual framework on the effect of knowledge management within supply chain risk and supply chain risk management.

Research background: The fourth industrial revolution has significantly changed the operational processes of industries and influenced the industrial structures of multiple countries. These scenarios have resulted in organizations embracing digital technologies in their supply chains. However, the digital supply chain literature is still in its early stages of development. Purpose of the article: This study primarily aimed to understand whether artificial intelligence (AI) and big data influence circular economy performance (CEP) through the circular supply chain (CSC), along with exploitative and explorative integration. Methods: Data were collected using a questionnaire survey. The proposed hypotheses were tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) via Smart PLS (4.0). The empirical analysis supported most proposed hypotheses. Findings & value added: The results indicate that the CSC supports digitalization in improving CEP. Additionally, exploitative integration does not influence the moderating role between big data and the CSC, nor does explorative integration between AI and the CSC. This study enables managers to understand that enabling technologies are suitable for facilitating the accomplishment of a CSC’s goals.
