Farhan Amin received his B.S. degree in computer science from Gomal University, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan in 2007 and his M.S. degree in computer science from International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) in August 2012. He completed his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, College of Engineering, Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, South Korea in October 2020. He worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Gachon University, Seongnam, South Korea. Currently, he is working as an assistant professor at the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Yeungnam University, Gyeongsan, South Korea. His research interests include the Internet of Things, the social Internet of Things, big data, and data science. He was a recipient of a fully funded scholarship for his master's studies and Ph.D. He is a member of the IEEE and ACM.
