Prof. Ignat Ignatov DSc was born on January 1, 1963, in Teteven, Bulgaria. In 1989, Ignatov majored physics at "Kliment Ohridski" Sofia University with master's degree. In the same year, he began his professional work in the sphere of medical biophysics. In 1989, the Bulgarian scientist founded the Scientific Research Center of Medical Biophysics (SRCMB) of which he is also an owner. Since 2013, Ignatov has been a Doctor of Science and Professor at the Russian Academy for Natural History. He is and editor in the Bulgarian Journal of Public Health.
The scientific directions of Prof. Ignatov are - structure of water, origin of life and living matter, factors for health and longevity, color corona electrical discharge, plasma activated water, nanotechnologies, astrobiology, biological effects of heavy water, entropy, visual analyzer, crystals, biotechnologies, hydrogen-rich water.
Since 2010, Munisipality of Teteven and Prof. Ignatov have been organizing the event "Days of Mountain Water." Since, 2012 research has been conducted in Bulgaria on the scientific and practical project "Factors of Longevity."
