Terminal guidance law against the maneuvering target is always the focal point. Most of the literatures focus on estimating the acceleration of target and time to go in guidance law, which are difficult to acquire. This paper presents a terminal guidance law based on receding horizon control strategy. The proposed guidance law adopts the basic framework of receding horizon control, and the guidance process is divided into several finite time horizons. Then, optimal control theory and target motion prediction model are used to derive guidance law for minimum time index function with continuous renewal of original conditions at the initial time of each horizon. Finally, guidance law performs repeated iteration until intercepting the target. The guidance law is of subprime optimal type, requiring less guidance information, and does not need to estimate the acceleration of target and time to go. Numerical simulation has verified that the proposed guidance law is more effective than traditional methods on constant and sinusoidal target with bounded acceleration.

The trajectory of a tubular launched cruising unmanned aerial vehicle is optimized using the modified direct collocation method for attacking a target at back slope under a wind gradient. A mathematical model of the cruising unmanned aerial vehicle is established based on its operational and motion features under a wind gradient to optimize the trajectory. The motion characteristics ofaltitude adjustment and suicide attack are taken into full account under the combat circumstance of back slope time key targets. By introducing a discrete time function, the trajectory optimization is converted into a nonlinear programming problem and the SNPOT software is applied to solve for the optimal trajectory of the missile under different wind loads. The simulation results show that, for optimized trajectories, the average attack time decreased by up to 29.1% and the energy consumption is reduced by up to 25.9% under specified wind gradient conditions. , , and have an influence on the flight trajectories of cruising unmanned aerial vehicle. This verifies that the application of modified direct collocation method is reasonable and feasible in an effort to achieve more efficient missile trajectories. The loitering munitions are advanced new ammunitions, which reflect both the characteristics of UAV and missile and have their own novel characteristics. This paper analysed the characteristics of the attack process of a small loitering munition and proposed a speed scheme suitable for precise strike of loitering munitions based on the concept of traditional ammunition’s speed-thrust schemes. Then, the boundary conditions and the existence of the solution have been discussed. Finally, flight test results showed that the scheme was effective.
Visual SLAM techniques have proven to be effective methods for estimating robust position and attitude in the field of robotics. However, current monocular SLAM algorithms cannot guarantee timeliness of system startup due to the problematic initialization time and the low success rates. This paper introduces a rectilinear platform motion hypothesis and thereby converts the estimation problem into a verification problem to achieve fast monocular SLAM initialization. The proposed method is simulation tested on a fixed‐wing UAV. Tests show that the proposed method can produce faster initialization of visual SLAM and that the advantages are more profound on systems with sparse image features.
