Dabin Lin was born in Shandong, China, in 1984. He received the B.S. degree in Automation in 2006 from Weifang University, Shandong, China. After completing his Ph.D. in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics in 2013 at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi, China, he joined the Xi’an Technological University, as a lecture and research scientist, developing high-performance relaxor-PT and lead-free ferroelectric crystals and thin films for acoustic device. From 2019 to now, he is a professor in Xi’an Technological University. From 2010 to 2011, 2016 to 2017, and 2018 to 2019, he joined Prof. Thomas R. Shrout’s group as a visiting scholar and adjunct research assistant at Material Research Institute at Penn State University, PA, USA. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed articles. His scientific interest lies in process of rare earth element doped relaxor-PT ferroelectric ceramics, Bridgeman method of piezoelectric crystals growth, domain wall engineering of ferroelectric material on purpose of high piezoelectric response, and design of the acoustic device.
