Alfredo Alcayde-García is a Professor at the Engineering Department/Electrical Engineering, University of Almería, Spain, and the Deputy Director of Industrials at the Higher School of Engineering. He works as an engineer in a private research center and collaborates with research groups at the universities of Almería and Granada. His research interests include energy, power systems, sustainability, optimization, and genetic algorithms.
