Wen Tong Chong is a distinguished Full Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Universiti Malaya (UM), located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Alongside his teaching and advisory roles, he serves as the Head of the UM Centre for Energy Sciences. He is recognized as a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (FASc), a Professional Engineer (Ir.) registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certified by the UK Engineering Council.
