Aims: The aim of this study is to determine the psychological resilience and self‐efficacy levels of caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and to examine the effects of these variables on the caregiver burden.Design: A cross‐sectional, quantitative design was used. Methods: The study was conducted in the neurology outpatient clinic of a university hospital between March and July 2022. The sample of the study consisted of caregivers of 105 individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Data were collected using the “Zarit Burden Interview,” the “Revised Scale for Caregiving Self‐Efficacy,” and the “Resilience Scale Short Form.” In the study, descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis were employed, and the stepwise multiple regression model was applied. Results: It was determined that caregivers had a moderate to severe caregiving burden (43.57 ± 16.58) and a moderate level of psychological resilience (20.24 ± 5.96) and self‐efficacy (62.84 ± 15.96). The stepwise regression analysis results showed that a lower mini mental state score (β = −0.821; p < 0.001), low caregiver income status (β = −0.201; p < 0.008), inadequate social support (β = −0.155; p < 0.030), shorter duration of Alzheimer's disease diagnosis (β = −0.323; p < 0.001), advanced age (β = −0.299; p < 0.001), and prolonged caregiving (β = −0.216; p < 0.005) were the main predictors of caregiver burden. In addition, the levels of caregiver's self‐efficacy in obtaining respite (β = −0.340; p < 0.001), psychological resilience (β = −0.293; p < 0.001), and self‐efficacy in controlling upsetting thoughts (β = −0.240; p < 0.001) about caregiving predicted caregiver burden significantly. Conclusion: The resilience and self‐efficacy levels of caregivers predicted caregiver burden significantly. As the psychological resilience and self‐efficacy levels of caregivers increase, caregiver burden may decrease significantly.Patient or Public Contribution: Patient or Public Contribution: Interviews were conducted with the research participants to collect data. Our findings can be used to develop interventions and coping strategies to reduce the care burden of caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and to improve their resilience and self‐efficacy.Reporting Method: The results were reported in accordance with STROBE guidelines.

Background: Media narratives about healthcare scandals can profoundly influence public trust in medical institutions and professionals. In neonatal care, where trust in healthcare providers is crucial for parental decision-making, negative media portrayals may create ethical challenges by fostering fear and skepticism. The erosion of trust in neonatal nurses and healthcare institutions may seriously affect maternal decision-making and neonatal health outcomes. Aim: To explore the ethical implications of media narratives on maternal trust in neonatal care. Specifically, it investigates how media portrayals of neonatal care scandals impact expectant mothers’ perceptions of neonatal professionals, their emotional responses, and their healthcare choices. Research design: A qualitative research design was employed using semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis, following Braun and Clarke’s framework, was used to analyze the data. Participants and research context: The study included 22 expectant mothers in their third trimester who had been exposed to media coverage of neonatal care scandals in Turkey. Ethical considerations: Ethical approval was obtained from the University Research Ethics Committee. Participants provided written informed consent, ensuring voluntary participation and anonymity. Results: Four major themes emerged: (1) erosion of trust in neonatal nurses and institutions, leading to skepticism and emotional distress; (2) the emotional impact of media narratives, including fear, anxiety, and defensive decision-making regarding neonatal care choices; (3) perceived quality of care, highlighting concerns over the differences between public and private NICUs and resource allocation; and (4) the need for ethical reforms, including transparency, independent oversight, and media accountability to restore trust. Conclusions: Media narratives significantly shape maternal perceptions of neonatal care, raising critical ethical concerns about trust and accountability. The findings highlight the need for systemic reforms to ensure ethical transparency, responsible media reporting, and enhanced communication between healthcare providers and the public. Addressing these ethical challenges is essential for fostering trust in neonatal nursing and ensuring equitable, high-quality care for newborns.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a deadly, never-before-seen epidemic that is spreading rapidly around the world. This epidemic affected the whole society, especially health workers, both physiologically and psychologically. In this context, our study aimed to examine the difficulties faced by our healthcare professionals working under difficult conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this purpose, a semi-structured questionnaire was created and qualitative interviews were conducted with 8 health personnel. As a result of the study, it was determined that the factor that the participants experienced the most difficulty during the Covid-19 period was related to the changes in working conditions. It was revealed that these factors were followed by the psychological problems experienced by the participants in this period and the excessive workload.
