Since July 2020, Wilfried Liebig is head of the group “Hybrid and Lightweight Composites” at the Institute of Applied Materials – Materials Science and Engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From 2016 to 2019, he was working as a Postdoc at the Institute of Vehicle System Technology – Lightweight Technology. Prior to that, he completed his doctorate about the influence of voids on the mechanical behavior of fiber-reinforced polymers at the Hamburg-Harburg University of Technology in 2015.
