Long Zhao received a Ph.D. degree in precision instruments and machinery in 2004 from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, China. Prior to that, he received an M.S. degree in control theory and control engineering in 2001 from Harbin Engineering University, Harbin, China and a B.S. degree in mathematics education in 1998 from Inner Mongolia Normal University, Inner Mongolia, China. He is currently a professor at the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering at Beihang University, Beijing, China. He is the head of the Digital Navigation Center at Beihang University. His research focuses on geophysical navigation, vision navigation, and all source navigation.
