Prof. Anna Pawlik is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Institute of Biological Sciences, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Her research focuses on the metabolism of wood-degrading fungi, the effect of light on fungal metabolism, bacterial and fungal enzyme isolation, characterization, and biotechnological applications. She is a member of Scientific Societies, the Polish Mycological Society (PTMyk), and the Polish Genetic Society, Lublin Branch. In 2019, she was awarded the medal of the National Education Commission (KEN) from the Minister of National Education.
