I am a specialist in educational research whose publications focus on sustainability education from a holistic perspective, integrating curricular innovation, social commitment, and professional development. Her work addresses the interconnected dimensions of human, social, and environmental sustainability, generating national and international impact. As a member of the SEI research group (Sustainability and Comprehensive Education, SGR119-AGAUR), she leads studies and publishes on Service-Learning (SL) as a transformative tool for integrating sustainability into curricula. Her international projects, particularly in rural Guatemala, embody this integration by linking community development with educational equity. Her doctoral thesis (Summa Cum Laude, 2012) developed strategies to systematize SL in higher education and to promote key professional competencies aligned with sustainability principles. She actively collaborates with the Spanish and Catalan University SL Networks, IARSLCE, and ROIP, expanding the research on sustainability-oriented education. Through initiatives like “Multiplying Mothers,” her publications document how SL fosters local empowerment, gender equality, and early stimulation, contributing to a sustainable learning ecosystem. These programs merge academic knowledge and community practice, demonstrating how education for sustainability can drive holistic development and long-term social transformation.
