Vincenzo Denaro has been a Scientific Director at the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico since 2022, the Head Emeritus UOC Orthopedics and Traumatology at Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital since 2016, the President of the Italian Society of Spinal Surgery since 2014, a Full Professor Emeritus at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome since 2013, and the Director of the Chair and School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome since 1994. He obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Catania in 1967 and specialization diplomas in digestive system diseases, blood and metabolism, orthopedics and traumatology, occupational medicine, and physiatry at the University of Pavia from 1967 to 1969. His main areas of clinical activity include spinal surgery (cervical spondylotic myelopathy, herniated disc, vertebral instability, and tumors); primary and revision prosthetic surgery (hip, knee, shoulder, and ankle); osteoncology (the integrated treatment of primary and secondary tumor pathologies); and hand and foot surgery.
