Sangseop Lim graduated from the Korea Maritime and Ocean University and received his M.S. in Shipping Management and Ph.D. in Shipping Management. Before his current role, he was an onboard officer in Maritime Transportation at the Hyundai Merchant Marine (2007–2012) and an Assistant Professor in International Trade and Logistics at the Pai Chai University (2020). He joined Korea Maritime and Ocean University in 2012 and is now an Assistant Professor in Maritime Transportation Science.
