Dr. Abdul Ghaffar is member of Informetrics Research Group, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; He has taught Mathematics to post-graduate, graduate and undergraduate classes side by side with notable engagements in research work, assessment and evaluation; teachers' training and administration. His areas of interest include Computer Aided Geometric Design, Multiresolution in geometric modeling, special function, and Subdivision scheme. He has participated in several conferences and seminars in Pakistan and abroad. He is member of various professional societies including Pakistan Mathematical Society. He has the distinction of winning the Research Productivity Award for the year 2012-13 from the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology.
