Zahoor Ahmed, Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Shanghai University of Electric Power. He has completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where his research focused on digital twin resilient consensus of multi-agent systems under cyber-attacks. He is the recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC-RFIS) and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security National Foreign Experts Individual Project. Dr. Ahmed has published extensively in top-tier journals including Automatica, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II, ISA Transactions, Ocean Engineering, and Neurocomputing. His research interests span data-driven control, deep learning-based fault diagnosis, digital twin technology, resilient control, multi-agent systems, and cooperative control of autonomous vehicles. He serves as a reviewer for prestigious journals such as IEEE TAC, Automatica, IEEE TVT, and IEEE TIM, and is an editor for a special issue on "Digital Twins and Cyber-Physical Systems for a Sustainable Energy Transition" in Sustainability. He served as workshop chair at ASIM 2025, 2026 and has conducted several invited workshops/talks on digital twin technology at domestic and international institutions.
