Xian Wu received his B.E. degree in Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2011 and his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation from the same university in 2017. He worked as a Lecturer at the College of Mechanical and Electrical Automation, Huaqiao University (2017–2020), and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2021. In January 2026, he was promoted to Professor at the same college, where he currently holds this position. His research topics mainly include: design, fabrication and application of micro/nano cutting tools, energy‑field-assisted machining, and intelligent monitoring of machining processes.
