Dr. Yamilé López-Hernández is a Researcher at the National Council
of Science and Technology and Autonomous University of Zacatecas and is also
the Head of Metabolomics and Proteomics Laboratory, Autonomous University of
Zacatecas, specializing in mass spectrometry applications for metabolomic data.
Dr. Yamilé López-Hernández received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, a
Master’s degree in Protein Biochemistry, and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from
the University of Havana in 1997, 2005, and 2010, respectively, and served as a
Researcher at Finlay Institute, Center for Vaccine Research and Production (1997–2012).
Dr. Yamilé López-Hernández has been a member of the Board of Directors of the
Mexican Proteomic Society since 2018.
