Prof. Xian Zhong

Xian Zhong was born in Wuhan, Hubei, China, in 1985. He received a bachelor's degree in computer science from Wuhan University, Wuhan, in 2007, and master's and Ph.D degrees in computer science and technology from the Huazhong University of Technology, Wuhan, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. From 2014 to 2015, he was a lecturer with the Wuhan University of Technology. Since 2015, he has been an associate professor with the Wuhan University of Technology. From 2016 to 2017, he was a visiting scholar with the University of Florida. Since 2021, he has been a visiting scholar with Peking University. His research interests include artificial intelligence, visual information processing, and multimedia content analysis and retrieval.
