To address the problem of low accuracy for the regular filter algorithm in SINS/DVL integrated navigation, a square-root unscented information filter (SR-UIF) is presented in this paper. The proposed method: (1) adopts the state probability approximation instead of the Taylor model linearization in EKF algorithm to improve the accuracy of filtering estimation; (2) selects the most suitable parameter form at each filtering stage to simply the calculation complexity; (3) transforms the square root to ensure the symmetry and positive definiteness of the covariance matrix or information matrix, and then to enhance the stability of the filter. The simulation results indicate that the estimation accuracy of SR-UIF is higher than that of EKF, and similar to UKF; meanwhile the computational complexity of SR-UIF is lower than that of UKF.

A novel nonlinear attitude error model based on square root cubature information filter (SR-CIF) is proposed aiming to speed up the convergence rate of DVL-aided strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) in-motion initial alignment for autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) when both large initial heading error and large initial level attitude errors exist The new nonlinear attitude error model and measurement model are applicable for initial alignment after a short-time coarse alignment with large attitude errors exist. The SR-CIF embeds the whole iterative process into the data structure framework of the information filtering, replacing the covariance matrix in the square root cubature Kalman filter (SR-CKF) with an information matrix which simplifies the filter initialization. The square root technology ensures the symmetry and positive definiteness of the information matrix with enhanced stability of the filter. The simulation and experimental results indicate that the proposed DVL-aided alignment filter is effective with large initial attitude errors. The rate of convergence and estimation accuracy of the SR-CIF is higher than that of the conventional SR-CKF with large attitude misalignments.

Aiming at the problem of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarm fragmentation caused by the velocity disorder in the process of spoofing, this paper designs a distributed UAV swarm countermeasure method based on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) spoofing, which realizes the purpose of spoofing and controlling illegal small UAV swarm. In this paper, the dynamic model of distributed UAV swarm is first constructed, the coupling relationship between GNSS spoofing offset and the navigation state parameters of UAV swarm is derived. Then, the slope of slop-type position spoofing signal is used to represent the velocity spoofing offset, and the velocity of swarm is controlled by controlling the slope of slop-type position spoofing signal. Based on the consistency control principle of swarm, the location of whole swarm is driven by spoofing the positioning information of individual, so as to realize the spoofing of the whole target UAV swarm. Finally, it is proved that using this method to spoof the individual of UAV swarm can achieve countermeasures against the whole UAV swarm under the premise of ensuring the integrity and velocity order of swarm through simulation and semi-physical experiments.

The accuracy and rate of convergence are two important performance factors for initial ground alignment of a strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS). For navigation-grade SINS, gyro biases and accelerometer offsets can be modeled as constant values during the alignment period, and they can be calibrated through two-position ground alignment schemes. In many situations for SINS ground alignment, the azimuth of the vehicle remains nearly constant. This quasi-stationary alignment information can be used as an augmented measurement. In this paper, a piecewise combined Kalman filter utilizing relative azimuth constraint (RATP) is proposed to improve the alignment precision and to reduce the time consumption for error convergence. It is presented that a piecewise time-invariant linear system can be combined into a whole extended time-invariant linear system so that a piecewise combined Kalman filter can be designed for state estimation. A two-position ground alignment algorithm for SINS is designed based on the proposed piecewise combined Kalman filter. Numerical simulations and experimental results show its superiority to the conventional algorithms in terms of accuracy and the rate of convergence.
