That is why this article seeks to study the digital divide and the teaching-learning process in Ecuador, using a descriptive research methodology with a quantitative approach supported by the deductive method, having as a general result an assertive perception about the existence of the digital divide in the institution, in addition to a high degree ofaffectation in the aforementioned process caused by the pandemic; the research concludes with the scoop of a decreasing trend in the digital divide as the years go by and technological development progresses.
