Dr. Angelo Giovanni Icro Maremmani

He was resident in Psychiatry at the University of Pisa between 2010 and 2015 where he achieved Specialization in Psychiatry. He achieved a II level Master in Behavioral and Toxicology-Psychoactive Dependence During at the University of Pisa. During his residency he was Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver (Canada) and at the "Kreek Lab", Laboratory of the Biology of Addictive Diseases, at the Rockefeller University, NY, New York (United States). Since May 2016 he’s working as Psychiatry at the Psychiatry Unit at the Department of Psychiatry, North-Western Tuscany Region NHS Local Health Unit, Versilia Zone, Viareggio, Italy. His daily work is mainly focused on clinical and therapeutical aspects of dual diagnosis individuals treated in inpatients and outpatients setting. On March 2017 he obtained the National Scientific Qualification to Associate Professorships for Psychiatry (with a validity 31/03/2023 according to Article 16, paragraph 1, Law 240/10). In February 2020 he concluded Regional "Pegaso" PhD Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (XXXII cycle), of the University of Siena.
