Dr. Helio Castro

Dr. Sc. in Industrial and Systems Engineering, M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management, Dipl. Eng. in Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Minho, Portugal. He is a Professor and Researcher at the School of Engineering of Porto (ISEP), Portugal. His research interests are virtual and ubiquitous enterprises, meta-organizations and advanced manufacturing and business models, agile manufacturing and entrepreneurship, concurrent and collaborative engineering, chaos and complexity management. He is also a research member in Enterprise System Engineering Center (CESE) at INESC TEC, Portugal, in Industrial Engineering and Management research group at Centro ALGORITMI, Portugal and in Information and Decision Technologies research group at the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil.
