Doctor Anastasiia Krivoruchko graduated from Perm State University; received a PhD and DSc in Microbiology at the Perm Federal Research Center, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences; worked as a researcher at the same institute since 2009. Since 2014, she has been an assistant professor of the Microbiology and Immunology Department, Perm State University. Since 2019, she has been Head of the Laboratory of Mechanobiology of Living Systems at the Perm Federal Research Center. Her main research fields are microbial ecology and physiology, bacterial adhesion, ecobiotechnology, molecular microbiology, biocatalysts, and bioremediation. She has been working for 13 years in the IEGM Regional Specialized Collection of Alkanotrophic Microorganisms (www.iegmcol.ru; Perm, Russia). She is an author of 29 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 3 book chapters, and 2 patents. She is Member of the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS), Russian Microbiology Society.
