This study aims to evaluate the effect of electricity production on industrial development and sustainable economic growth. In this context, Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa (BRICS), countries which have the highest increase in electricity production in the period of 2000–2018, are included in the scope of this study. Annual data of these variables in the period of 1991–2018 are used and three different models are created by using Vector Auto Regression (VAR) methodology. The findings state that electricity production in BRICS countries has a positive effect on both industrial production and sustainable economic growth. Hence, electricity production needs to be increased for them. For this purpose, it is important to encourage investors with tax advantages, location orientation and financing. Moreover, BRICS countries should give importance to renewable energy investments in order to increase electricity production. These issues have a contributing effect to sustainable economic growth.

The risks of hydroelectricity energy investments should be managed effectively to increase the performance of these projects. Thus, more significant risks should be identified to take effective measures for risk management without experiencing high costs. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to define critical risks in hydroelectricity energy investment projects by making a priority analysis. Within this scope, a new decision-making model is created. In the first stage, five different risks are examined by considering Spherical fuzzy Entropy. Moreover, the second stage consists of ranking emerging seven countries with the help of Spherical fuzzy multi-attribute ideal-real comparative assessment (MAIRCA). The main contribution of this study is that more important risks of hydroelectricity energy investments can be identified by the help of the priority analysis. This situation provides an opportunity to implement effective strategies to increase these investments without having high costs. Additionally, considering Spherical fuzzy sets has a positive impact on the appropriateness of the results. Since these numbers use a wider data range, the effectiveness of the analysis results can increase. It is determined that the most important risk is environmental risk with the highest weight value of 0.2478. Financial risks and personnel risks are other significant factors that affect the performance of the hydroelectricity energy investments. Furthermore, as a result of ranking the alternatives, it is seen that China is the most suitable country for hydroelectric energy investments. India and Mexico are other successful countries in this respect. However, Turkey and Indonesia have lower performance for this situation.

This study investigated how energy inflation in the health sector can be controlled. In this context, research has been carried out using both the AHP and the DEMATEL methods. A comprehensive literature review was carried out, and four different criteria were determined. In order to determine which of these criteria is more important, an analysis was carried out using these two different methods. According to the results obtained, it has been determined that the use of renewable energy is the most important factor in eliminating the inflation caused by energy prices in the health sector. Because the best criterion is the same for both the results of AHP and DEMATEL, this situation gives information about the coherency and reliability of the study. Hence, appropriate strategies can be provided based on these results to minimize the inflation problem in the healthcare industry. The findings indicate that it would be appropriate for hospitals to give importance to the use of renewable energy. In this way, hospitals will be able to produce the energy they need themselves.

Electric vehicles are very important for the country's economy. Thanks to the use of these vehicles, both environmental and economic benefits can occur for countries. However, there are some problems that prevent the development of electric vehicles. The inadequacy of charging stations is one of the most important problems in this process. This problem prevents the preference of electric vehicles. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis is required to solve this problem. Accordingly, this study aims to determine strategy suggestions that will increase the effectiveness of charging stations for electric vehicles. To achieve this goal, a new decision-making model is proposed in this study. In this model, multi-criteria decision-making techniques are integrated with fuzzy logic. The findings indicate that technological improvements play the most crucial role in increasing the effectiveness of these investments. Similarly, increasing the number of charging stations also has a positive influence on this situation.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the environmental impacts of material production investments. The factors of Higg Materials Sustainability Index are defined as the parameters. These factors are weighted by considering T-SF TOPSIS-DEMATEL. Moreover, the items of the life cycle process are defined as alternative set for measuring the environmental effects of each process in the sustainable production investments. These alternatives are ranked with interval valued SF MAIRCA. The calculations are also made for different t, u and d values with the aim of making comparative evaluations. The main contribution of this study is that a priority analysis has been made so that the most significant indicators are defined for the companies to increase sustainability in material production investment process. Another important novelty of this paper is that a new model is created by the name of TOPSIS-DEMATEL. This situation has a positive influence on both increasing methodological originality and overcoming criticized issues of DEMATEL. The results are quite similar for all conditions, so it is understood that the proposed model provides consistent and coherent findings. It is concluded that chemistry is the most critical factor for environmental impact for material production investments. Moreover, recycle is determined as the most optimal alternative.
