Shifeng Li received a BS in chemical engineering from Liaoning Petrochemical University (China), then earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the Dalian University of Technology (China) in 2010. In 2010, He joined the faculty of the College of Chemical Engineering at the Shenyang University of Chemical Engineering (China). He held a six-year postdoctoral appointment at the Institute of Applied Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current work in the area of environmental science involves the transport and fate of contaminants, soil chemistry and remediation, and the association of humic substances with toxic compounds to remove pollutants.
