To probe into the time-dependent behaviour of the ballastless track–bridge structural system under train load, based on the import of the static and fatigue damage constitutive model of materials to simulate damage deterioration of the structural system and interface cohesive zone model to the interface layer, a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element model of the China Railway Track System Type II (CRTS II) ballastless track–bridge structural system was established using the equivalent static method. Then, using this model, we developed the numerical simulation analysis of the influence law of material damage deterioration on structural system performance under train load and revealed the fatigue evolution of the structural system. The results show that the beam remains in compressed status for the whole process, the track is in compression in the midspan and in tension at the beam end, and the tensile stress is larger near the shear groove under the double-track static load. Under the fatigue load, stiffness degradation of the structural system is not obvious, and integral rigidity of the structural system is dependent on the rigidity of the beam. Strength reduction of the materials caused stress redistribution of the structural system and had a larger effect on the stress of each layer of track structure than on the stress on the beam. The fatigue degradation of the cement-emulsified asphalt (CA) mortar layer material has a significant impact on the structural system, which directly affects structural layer stress variation with the fatigue loading cycle.

Bridge construction accidents are often caused by a variety of factors, so it is particularly important to explore the role mechanism of bridge construction accident risk factors to effectively prevent construction safety accidents and ensure the smooth construction of bridges. We collect the causes of bridge construction accidents in China from 2006 to 2023, take 126 typical cases as research samples, analyze the primary risk factors of bridge construction from four aspects (human factors, equipment factors, management factors, and environmental factors), establish a library of secondary risk factors with reference to the literature research, introduce the theory of risk coupling, and analyze the coupling mechanism and types of risk factors of bridge construction accidents. The N-K random Boolean network model (N-K model) quantifies the coupling relationship between risk factors, assesses the risk level, and uses social network analysis (SNA) to analyze the network of bridge construction accident risk factors. The results indicate that the more factors involved in risk coupling, the greater the safety risks in bridge construction. Human factors are susceptible to the influence of other elements, and environmental and management factors can directly or indirectly impact other factors. In addition, operational errors, a lack of supervision and management, inadequate safety inspections, poor management personnel, and insufficient technical capabilities are also key risk factors that need to be prevented and controlled.

Here the piezoelectric Lead-Zirconate-Titanate (PZT) sensors were developed and embedded into concrete to actively provide the local excitation and simultaneously sense the structural dynamic response by using the electromechanical impedance (EMI) technique. The influences of mass variations of concrete structure and vibration condition on the EMI technique were investigated. The root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) index was used to evaluate the impedance spectra variation of the PZT sensor. The results show that the EMI technique is sensitive to the mass variation of the structure, and the EMI sensitivity shows the decreasing trend with increasing the distance between the PZT sensor and additive mass loadings on the concrete structure. The vibration condition is important for the accuracy of the EMI technique, which should be considered in the practical engineering application.
