Mariachiara Zanetti is a Full Professor at Politecnico Torino in Environmental Sanitary Engineering. She is also a member of the Polytechnic of Turin public party delegation union negotiation and the Arpa Piemonte Scientific Committee. Her main scientific activity is focused on environmental technologies for wastewater treatment, waste recycling and reuse, contaminated land characterization and cleaning, and environmental risk analysis. She managed several projects financed by public and private entities aimed at the development of new technologies to achieve environmental sustainability. She was also a lecturer in several post-master degree courses performed by Politecnico di Torino, Hydroaid e Università di Parma in Italy and Brazil. She is the author of the Environmental Engineering MOOC at Uninettuno University.
