Guichuan Xing is a Professor at the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering at the University of Macau, China. He received his Ph.D. in physics from National University of Singapore, Singapore in 2011 and then worked as a research assistant, research fellow, and senior research fellow in the Division of Physics and Applied Physics at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore from 2009 to 2016. His research interests lie in ultrafast laser spectroscopy, nano optoelectronics, perovskites for light harvesting and light emission, nonlinear optical properties, and ultrafast carrier dynamics in novel optoelectronic materials and devices.
