Information

Industrial Engineer from UVigo since 1993 and Doctor in Industrial Engineering since 2001 (2002 extraordinary award). Professor at Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Vigo and member of the Efficient and Digital Engineering research group. The main research areas are those related to renewable energies, the integration of energy in electricity networks, power quality and energy efficiency. In recent years he has collaborated in projects for the development of marine and wave energy. He has also participated in projects of micro-hydraulic energy systems based on PAT turbines. He is author of articles in international journals, the theme of recent years being based on most of the group's research lines: generation through marine currents, simulation of photovoltaic systems and wind power, interaction of renewable energies with electrical networks and their quality of supply and analysis of energy efficiency systems.
